Sola Lupa is a New York based production company, founded in 2015 by Margarida De Brito. Sola Lupa produces film and theatre within a range of genres and budgets, focusing on original, diverse stories with commercial appeal.
THE TEAM
MARGARIDA is the managing director at Société Générale, and was previously executive director and head of fixed income compliance at Morgan Stanley. In 2015, she founded Sola Lupa Productions, producing original theatre and independent film. Her previous theatre credits include SECOND SUN (Signature Theatre), DEAD DOG PARK (59E59), TRAVELING LADY (Cherry Lane), ACTUALLY WE'RE F**KED (Cherry Lane) and OUT OF THE MOUTHS OF BABES (Cherry Lane). Margarida currently serves as the Treasurer for Cherry Lane Theatre. Her film credits include, A CALL TO SPY (IFC Films).
ELLA previously served as a literary coordinator at Darren Aronofsky's, Protozoa Pictures before joining Sola Lupa in 2015. Ella has an MFA from Goldsmiths, University of London, and currently lives in NYC, where she produces theatre and film. Ella currently serves as Director of the CHAIN PLAYWRITING LAB, supporting emerging voices in American theatre.
